There’s always something happening in the Great Northern Town Center! Be sure and follow our Facebook feed for the latest on events, shops and restaurants. Every summer we feature our Out to Lunch live music series. Out to Lunch happens every Thursday from 11:30 – 1:30 outside the Great Northern Carousel. There is fabulous live music, food vendors and local specials at the restaurants. Or pack a picnic for the live music in our beautiful amphitheater! Another great way to enjoy the Town Center is to walk the Lewis & Clark Interpretive trail, reading signs and learning about Lewis & Clark’s travels across Montana. Along your way, you’ll see a variety of public art pieces including bronze statues of Montana animals and the new Archie Bray Ceramic Mural on the Bicentennial Plaza that celebrates 60 years of the ceramic arts at Archie Bray. Stop into any of the nearby shops to pick up ping pong paddles and enjoy a game at our outdoor ping pong table. Lastly, take in the brand-new Helena Bike Tower sculpture by Cinemark theatre. This sculpture was completed in 2016 and features recycled bikes from Helena citizens. It celebrates Helena’s unique mountain and road biking culture.
